EMS Mobile – Privacy Policy

EMS Mobile is an application provided by Family Builders & Developers (“we”, “us”, “our”) for employees of organizations that use the EMS (Employee Management System) platform. This policy explains how EMS Mobile collects, uses, and protects information.

1. Information we collect

• Account information

  We process your name, email address, employee ID, organization details, and other profile information that are provided by your employer’s EMS account.

• Usage data

  We may collect basic technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, IP address, and app usage events (for example, when you sign in, submit a request, or perform attendance check‑in) to help maintain and improve the service.

• Location data

  When enabled by your organization and permitted by you, EMS Mobile may collect your device’s location at the time of attendance check‑in and/or check‑out. Location data is only used to verify that you are at an allowed location for attendance and for related compliance reporting required by your organization.

• Notification tokens

  We store a device token so we can send you push notifications about attendance events, leave approvals or rejections, announcements, reminders, and other work‑related updates configured by your organization.

2. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

• Authenticate you and allow you to access your EMS account.
• Record attendance, including location (where required by your organization).
• Submit, process, and track leave requests and other HR‑related workflows.
• Display your schedule, shifts, and other work information.
• Send you work‑related notifications and announcements.
• Monitor, maintain, secure, and improve the EMS platform and EMS Mobile.
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests when required.
